A life well- lived! It is the only way to describe Margaret Anita Palmer Major. Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Peggy, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on September 30, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents, John and Laura Palmer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, the Honorable Charles T. Major; her brother John Palmer (Sue);her brother-in-law, Father Peter C. Major MHM; her 8 children Michael (Mariann), Mary, Margaret (Jeff), Mark (Martha), Matthew (Susan), Martha (Michael), Martin (Beth) and Mitch (Kristen); 26 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Peggy was a 1952 graduate of Skaneateles High School, where she was a student athlete involved in all five sports available to girls. She also graduated from the Eastman School of Dentistry. She worked as a dental hygienist before becoming a full-time, loving, stay-at-home mother to her eight children. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother (Nana), Peggy was a joyful, gentle and generous contributor to her lifelong community of Skaneateles, NY. She was a devoted supporter and fan of Skaneateles Hockey, while volunteering for others, including Meals on Wheels. She was a communicant of St. Mary's of the Lake Church.
Peggy left a loving mark on the lives of so many people in the community of Skaneateles. We are all better for walking with her through life.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Peggy will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday October 5, in St. Mary's of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Following the services the family will greet family and friends at The Lodge at Welch Allyn, 4355 State Street Road, Skaneateles Falls, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the People of South Sudan, through Fr. Peter C. Major MHM at 27 East Austin Street, Skaneateles, NY 13152. Please make checks payable to Father Peter C. Major MHM.

Her sense of humor was one of her finest qualities. I loved talking with her every summer as we searched for lake glass. I have missed doing that with her the past few years. Condolences to all of the family. She will be greatly missed!

Charlie and all the family, please accept our deepest condolences. Peggy was a wonderful mother, friend and true hockey fan. We truly enjoyed her company at the rinks for many, many years. May she Rest In Peace and know that she will always be remembered with great fondness by all who knew and loved her.

Dear Charlie and family; What a beautiful tribute to your beloved wife, Mom and Nana. Always enjoyed our visits at the grocery store catching up on family news. She always left me with a smile. A dear woman who lived her life well for sure. Our deepest sympathy to you all.

Dear Major Kids...and Charlie, Four of you were "my kids" in Kdgn and I met your mom because of this. Such a sweet and understanding mother, she was so easy to chat with and discuss whatever needed to be said. I have and will miss seeing her in the grocery store and catching up. I send my warmest thoughts to the four of you....and also to the four who either knew who I was in Kdgn or I interacted with as adults. Your mom will be missed by many in this town and I am silently hugging each of you as you remember her. She lived an especially good life and the eight of you are surely a wonderful symbol of that.

Dear Charlie, Mary, & Major Family,

My sincere and heartfelt condolences on the loss of "Nana." She was easily one of the most kind, gentle, loving, and unassuming people I have ever known. She was the perfect grandmother to my children. She indelibly touched them with her love and caring - I know I will forever be able to see the light of her soul in their eyes.

May the grace of time, and your loving memories of Peggy, grant you peace at this time of sorrow and loss. My thoughts are with all of you.

Brian

To Charlie and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. She truly was an amazing woman, a second mother to all the kids that came in contact with her through the years. Every trip home I would see her at the grocery store or the post office. She always brightened my day with her infectious laughter and smile. My deepest sympathy to you all.

I TESTED POSITIVE FOR HSV-2 A FEW MONTHS AGO.
At first, Yes, I was devastated thinking I have an incurable STD for life. After doing hours of research I quickly realized genital herpes is a filthy parasite that just likes to hide in your body. Yes, There’s no “medical cure” but that doesn’t mean your body can’t get rid of it. I literally flush it out of my system with the help of Doctor Azuka, A natural herbal medicine which I ordered after doing some research. And now I’m HSV-2 negative, I never believed it until my doctor finally gave me the test results and behold I was HSV-2 free. I’m so glad that I found you, Doctor Azuka. Thanks so much for your goodness I’m grateful. You can also get your help from him through his

My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough.
