“To laugh often and much, to win the respect of the intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch...to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived.  This is to have succeeded!”
 -Ralph Waldo Emerson
Judy A. Morgan of Skaneateles, New York passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at her home, surrounded in love by her family and friends. She was born to Lawrence & Margaret Kellogg on March 7, 1950 in Cortland, NY.  On October 7, 1972 she married the love of her life and best friend, Stephen Morgan.
Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting or knowing Judy knew her welcoming and encouraging manner.  Judy was a gentle person who loved without hesitation.
Judy had a remarkable professional career in education that spanned four decades.  She  worked in a number of school districts which allowed her to help and work with countless individuals. During her life, she dedicated herself to service by being involved in various groups and committees in her community, church, and work.
Together, Judy and Steve built their lives around raising their two children, Jill Fudo (Jeremy) and Brian (Jennifer).  She took great pride in encouraging and seeing her children grow into successful, creative, productive adults who approached raising children as she did.
In retirement, she spent any time she could enjoying her six grandchildren: Alexander, Lucas and Margaret Fudo, and Riley, Avery and Reagan Morgan.  Her heart swelled to know that her grandsons were growing into responsible and caring young adults, attending college and defining who they are as active members of their community.  Anyone who would listen surely heard about how proud she was of her granddaughters and their different achievements, including an egg business, academic and musical accomplishments, gymnastic victories, and other athletic interests.
Judy dearly loved her brother, Lawrence Kellogg, and his wife Diana, sisters-in-law Sue Sabin (Guy) and Nancy Kever (Bill), her many nieces and nephews, cousins and many special friends she made throughout the years.  She also had a loyal and loving companion in her dog, Emmie-Lou, who gave her so much happiness.
Judy and Steve created many loving homes during their marriage, most recently in Skaneateles.  They did so with the focus of raising their children, welcoming their family and friends and making a place where everyone felt loved and at home. At her homes, Judy took a great deal of pride in designing, planting and maintaining her gardens.  Reading and learning were Judy's lifelong passions.  She also loved cooking and baking, and found great fulfillment in sewing, knitting, and quilting beautiful creations for her family and friends.  She was sometimes even the neighborhood seamstress.
Most of all, spending time with her husband Steve brought her joy.  Together the two of them enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and seeking out new activities to do together such as attending the Culinary Institute.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the “Judy Morgan Memorial Foundation” PO Box 1241, Weedsport, NY 13166, which will be used to help fund the causes Judy was most passionate about.
Please join us in a celebration of Judy’s life on Saturday, January 28th from 1:00-4:00pm at Emerson Park Pavilion (6914 East Lake Road Auburn, NY 13021)
Please share your memories of Judy at http://judymorgan.life
We are all broken and lost in Judy's death but comforted to know that she succeeded!

Anna Marie “Ann” Cirincione, 103, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2017 at her home at The Athenaeum in Skaneateles, NY where she has resided for the past five years. Ann was born in Schenectady, NY in 1913 to John and Mary Cerrito. The daughter of Italian immigrants who valued education, Ann completed high school at sixteen and then earned an RN degree at Brady Maternity Hospital in Albany, where she became an obstetrical nurse. Following her 1940 marriage to Frank James Cirincione, who died in 1968, she co-owned Schenectady Importing Company. At age sixty-two, after selling the company she earned a BA degree at The College of St. Rose in Albany. At the same time, she became the Discharge Planner at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady. Ann retired thirty-six years ago, and then was able to devote much of her time to her passion, cooking. According to many, she was the best cook they ever knew. She had the ability to taste a food and recreate the recipe perfectly, or even improve on what “the chefs in New York made.” Her other interest included reading and discussing politics, making it clear that her view was always from the right, and also right.
Ann was predeceased by her siblings, the Honorable D. Vincent Cerrito, Gus Cerrito, Jesse Vacca, Jeanne Hoag, and Madge Strong. She is survived by her three children, Mary Ann Hayes (Stephen) of Marion, MA, F. James Cirincione, MD (Sharon) of Skaneateles, NY and Robert J. Cirincione, MD (Janice) of Hagerstown, MD. She loved her nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She took great interest in all aspects of their lives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Church in Schenectady on Saturday, January 14th at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Most Redeemer Cemetery. If you choose to remember Ann through a charitable donation, due to Ann’s love of foods, her ownership of a food importing company in Schenectady and her generosity in sharing food with others throughout her life, the family requests donations to St. Luke’s Food Pantry, 1241 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12304. The family also wishes to thank the staff of The Athenaeum for treating Ann with great dignity, respect and love.
