Joshua M. McIntyre

Joshua M. McIntyre, 18, of Owasco, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 18th. Josh recently graduated from Skaneateles High School where he played football. He worked on Richards Farm and was enrolled in Alfred State College.
Josh was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working and loved hanging with family and friends. His heart of gold and bigger than life personality will be missed by all.
Josh is predeceased by his aunt, Kim. He is survived by his loving parents, Joseph and Tammy; his big brother, Joey (Brianna); grandparents, Charlie and Lorrie Gleason of Skaneateles; aunts, Marianne Rogers of Arkansas, Marylouise Daniels of Syracuse, Theresa (Alfred) Bidwell; uncle, Jay Gleason of Skaneateles, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 23rd at Owasco Reformed Church, 5105 State Rte 38A, Owasco, NY 13021. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8pm on Monday, July 22nd at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles. Burial will be in Owasco Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Owasco Fire Company #2; 4881 Twelve Corners Rd, Auburn, NY 13021.

My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you, Tammy, Joe, Joey, Lorrie and grandpa and all the other loving relatives and friends. I am so sorry and so sad. Josh had his fun side and that great smile and sense of humor. Honesty and his own kind of pizzazz. I know I join you in saying we will all miss him terribly. He graced us with his presence and is gone to soon. Too soon to imagine. I send you all the hugs I can knowing that there are no real words of comfort right now. I loved seeing him at graduation and knowing he was headed to Alfred. I was so proud of and happy for him and you. My heart is heavy. Memories of Josh will abide, he was caring and unforgettable. My God's peace comfort you during this trying time.

Tammy, Joe, and Joey,
My sincere condolences to you and family and friends, so many students and staff at Cayuga Onondaga BOCES are heartbroken at the loss of Josh. He graced us with his cheerful presence, wonderful sense of humor, and contagious smile. His positive attitude encouraged others and extended beyond the Heavy Equipment Repair Operator (HERO) program. He enlivened our Participation in Government and Economics classes with his energy and thoughtful insight. May God bless you with peace at this difficult time. God bless Josh!
