    Joseph W. Logan, 89, of Skaneateles died Monday in the arms of his family. He lived a long, joyous life and felt truly blessed having a large extended family and a supportive community.
    With a big smile on his face and a love for competition, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, family picnics and games, ping pong, bowling, golf and of course SU sports. He invented Friday night, goody night for his family.
    Born in Syracuse to the late Joesph D and Mary Esther (Ryan) Logan and predeceased by his dearest wife, Kay (Songer)of 69 years. Joe is an Air Force Veteran, SU graduate and retiree from NYSDOT as an appraiser.
    Survived by his six children, Deborah (Mark) Ganley, Mary Beth (Peter) Riehlman, Janice (Craig) Logan, Terry (Barry) Bocklet, John (Ginger) Logan, and Michael Logan, his baby sister Rosemary and brother-in-law Bill Guyder, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

So sorry to hear about Joe's passing. Joe and I spent many fine days on the golf course together at Orchard Vali. He was a scholar and a gentleman. He always thought first about his family and friends, and was a gracious competitor on the golf course. You can be sure we will remember Joe when our golf league re-convenes again in the spring. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to learn that Joe passed away. For a number of years, Joe and I had a weekly meeting at the Skaneateles Y to play pin pong. He was a good player and would beat me often. During that time I got to know him and to appreciate him as a friend. The last time I saw Joe he was walking in the park with his son. I will miss him. May his memory be a blessing to his family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We at The Willow Glen Diner have been missing him so much and we're praying for him .
He was the joy to the end of our day...Joe,known fondly as "The soup guy" will forever be missed by us all. I will miss our conversations so much .Rest in peace Joe ♥️
