Rachel M. Covert, 30, of Moravia passed away November 27, 2018. She was very family oriented and was the glue that kept the family together especially with her cooking and baking. She loved animals and would do anything for them.
She leaves behind her fiancé Stephen Hunt. She was a devoted and loving mother of her daughter Lyric. She also leaves behind her father Todd Covert, brothers Brennan (Kara) and Eric; special and dear aunt Brenda, nieces and nephews Brian, Lucas, Lily and Alyssa. She was predeceased by her mother Terri Covert in 2014
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 3rd from 4 to 7pm at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles. Burial will be private.
Contribution in Rachel’s memory may be made to the SPCA or HEAL.

goodbye my sweet love. i will never forget you, or our one of a kind love. i will never let Lyric forget about you. Im so happy you were able to make her that minnie blanket. she will come to cherish it. i cant believe this is how our story ends. we had so much to look forward to, so many plans. this is probably one of the hardest things ive ever been dealt. i promise Lyr will be safe and taken care of and will live a beautiful life. thank you for everything over the years. i miss you so much. youre in no more pain, rest in peace, and watch over us. i love you Rae forever and always.

Rach...my gorgeous, amazing, full of life and love niece...how do we say goodbye? You were so much like your beautiful mom...so funny and so full of it! You and Stephen had it all....Lyric will know you as we will never let her forget...I'm sure he and your dad will make sure she has a full and loving life as will the rest of us. Rachel was a special woman. I only came to know her after her mom's passing, but I know the deep love she felt for Lyric and Stephen. I know she and Terri are getting caught up and taking care of each other. Prayers for everyone in Rachel's circle of family and friends.

Rachel, I don't even know what to say. It seems so unreal. I'm so sorry for the struggles you went thru. I think about all the fun times we had. Man back when we didn't have a care in the world. And all we had to do was go to school and survive. We lost track of each other over the years but your smile will be missed the laughter we shared . I will miss you Rachel. And I'll remember all the good times we shareed

Beautiful, beautiful Rachel. Again I lay awake with a broken heart and tears down my cheeks. I miss you more than I can bare. You gave me so much in your short life.
