Mary Kay: I'm saddened to hear about your mom. So glad I got to re-connected with both of you. I enjoyed sitting on the deck and chatting with your mom. Remember her sitting in the sun with that timer next to her chair waiting for her apple crisp to be done.....so many memories of the cottage and summer fun. Will be thinking of you and your family.

It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love; and when it happens , the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your love one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your love one is up in heaven. The bible, holds a out a much different hope. At Job 14:14,15, it says that the God of comfort Jehovah, yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them alive on earth. I really hope this thought brings family and friends comfort.

Condolences to your family. May you receive comfort from the word of God during this time of loss. Acts 24:15 says there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. Can you imagine the joy of Martha and Mary when Jesus raised Lazarus back to life?Read John 11:21-24, 38-44. Revelation 21:3,4 promises that one day death, mourning, and outcry will be no more.

I encourage you to read this Bible-based article entitled Does Death Really End It All?

We are so sorry for your loss. As was previously mentioned, Revelation 21:1-4 refers to a resurrection of those in memorial tombs right here on earth. It says "death will be no more". We know this is true because there has never been death in heaven. We hope this thought will brighten your future.
