Julia loved being surrounded by nature and watching the wildlife from her home in the woods. She enjoyed downhill and cross country skiing, golfing, gardening, camping and traveling worldwide. She was a volunteer with the Community Hospital Auxiliary and a volunteer driver for FISH (Friends in Service Here). Julia and Bob loved spending endless hours with their children and grandchildren. A close family friend described Julia as “classy and sassy”. She had a quick wit and a
wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include: Scott (Suzanne), Happy, Marybeth Charters (David). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Ashley Hass (Zach), Lauren Sprague (Jamie), Sara McClurg, Colden McClurg (Kristine), Wesley McClurg (Emily), Ferguson McClurg, Kristen Charters, Megan Charters and 4 great grandsons; Hunter and Wesley Hass, Hodge McClurg and Jaxson Sprague. Julia was predeceased by her son Mark (Happy) in 1996 and her husband Bob in 2007. A celebration of Julia’s life will be scheduled at a future date.
