John Irving Edwards April 15, 2019 John Irving Edwards passed away Monday April 15, 2019 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse, New York on May 20, 1933, John was a lifelong resident of Skaneateles, graduating in the class of 1951. After completing a degree in architectural drafting, he served in the Army and played in the 266th Army Band at Fort Hood, Texas. Upon his return he resumed his position at the Skaneateles Supply Company, becoming a co-owner after several years. Later, his expertise and talent for connecting with people led him to a successful sales career. John married the love of his life, Shirley Mason, in 1955, and together they chose the lot on which John built the family home that has been their residence ever since. John had many talents and interests, including building, which he learned from his father, cooking, community service, and travel. John loved engaging with people everywhere he went, and he had a heart for service to his community. He volunteered for many years as an EMT, and later as a driver, for SAVES. He also drove for the Laker Limo. John served on the vestry and sang in the choir at St. James Episcopal Church, where he was a lifelong member. He was a past master of the Masonic Lodge. For John music was a lifelong pleasure and avocation. He started playing the tuba in 7th grade. The next year, he became a member of the Auburn Civic Band, a position he held for 71 years. He also played in the Auburn Chamber orchestra for many years and the Skaneateles Community Band from its inception. John is survived by his four children Kim Edwards (Thomas Clayton) John Edwards (Cindy) Mark Teasdale-Edwards (Katherine) and Amy Wenner (James) as well as by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also by his sisters, Rena Pasternak, Nora Brown, and Nancy Smith. He was predeceased by his brother, Herb Edwards. The family is grateful for the excellent care John received at St. Joseph's Hospital, with special thanks to the nurses and to Dr. Nishith Amin. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 Thursday April 18 in St. James Episcopal Church, Skaneateles. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Episcopal Church. Condolences may be left at www.robertdgrayfuneralhome.com

We got to know John through my college friend, Shirley. We enjoyed his company and he and my husband seemed to "hit it off." John was easy to talk with and became a dear friend. We will certainly miss him. As college friends we met once a year for dinner and it was so enjoyable. Sadly my husband is gone now, too. Age isn't always happy.

I am fortunate to have played in the Auburn Civic Band and Auburn Chamber Orchestra with John. I always appreciated John's happy smile and his warm and caring disposition. John loved music as he loved people and serving and caring for others in his community. John's quiet and humble nature serve as a role model of us all. All who knew John are blessed.

What a kind, incredibly musical presence John had been in Auburn Chamber Orchestra holding us all up from the bottom as we flutists added the fluff and flourish up high. He has been missed lately, and we are so very sorry to know he has passed away. Please know there are many, many people sharing in your grief, and sharing the joy it was to have had John as part of our lives' circle.

I sat in front of John for many years in Auburn Chamber Orchestra. What a pleasure to play with him. Frequently bassoon and tuba share music and John was such an excellent musician. I also played with him in the Skaneateles band. If I got off I only had to listen to the tuba to find my way back. He was such a good man..always smiling and happy. To the Edwards family I send my condolences. Please know that he will be missed by so many...especially his music friends.

My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough.

How many testimonies do you need to read before you can contact the spiritualist to help you with the problem you are facing that makes life look choked and undeserving? Are you passing through pregnancy problems? Or maybe you want to get back your ex lover or get a big promotion in your office? I only needed to see Dr ANOKOKUDO to help me with my pregnancy problems and my help came to me. I promised if I got pregnant that I would also come online to share my experience with the world so others who are facing similar situations will get to know that there is a solution to every situation. My name is Millie Watson and I am from Arizona, USA. If you have been reading all I have said, I just want to thank Dr Anokokudo for helping me after 8 years of infertility since I got married in 2014. I gave birth to a wonderful baby boy on Dec 5 2022 and I will share this testimony of his work in my life to anywhere help is needed. You can contact Dr Anokokudo with his email [email protected] to help you with any problem you are facing and I promise you will be happy to also help others. Thank you extremely once again sir
