Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during such a difficult time. Last we saw Don over the summer he mentioned several times what a wonderful daughter Jeanne has been and how fortunate he is to have her as his daughter. We are so sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry Joe. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jeannie helped our kids get through school. She would take a bad day that they would be having and make it the best day for them. Always with a smile with nothing expected in return. Such a wonderful woman who will be missed by all.

My sincerest sympathy to Jeanne’s family, whom she was so proud of and loved so much.
I had the privilege of meeting Jeanne when I became her substitute at school. She was very thorough with her process in the testing center and wanted all of her kids to be taken care of.
Jeanne was a person I loved as soon as I met her. She was kind, caring, genuine, hilarious, and fun. Her desk calendar at school was full of kids’ birthdays and she kept many pictures of past and current students in her room. Jeanne provided a space for kids to relax and she rewarded those who reached their academic goals. She attended their sporting events.
When I subbed for Jeanne the kids just wanted to know when Mrs. Pratt would be back. I can hear Jeanne laughing now. My only regret is that I didn’t meet her sooner. Jeanne genuinely loved her job, her friends, and the kids — and the feeling is undoubtedly mutual as so many in our community are devastated by her passing.
Above all, Jeanne loved her family. Though I’ve never met you, she talked about all of you, all the time- Mike, Mindy and Joe, what a nice relationship her parents had, and she worried that her dad was adjusting and got to see his dog. Above all, she loved Brixton, Iona, and Roxanne. She always had so many pictures and stories to share.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that an entire community wishes you peace and comfort at this difficult time. She will not be forgotten. I feel certain that Jeanne passed right through to heaven. And I can still hear her laugh. xo
