Sorry for your loss. Jim was a life long friend. We shared many adventures / troubles together through our school days at Skaneateles Elementary, HS and at CCBI. Yes, lots of great memories memories of Jim. I wish you well Marilyn and family going forward. R.I.P. Jim.

My life-long friend has passed away. Our friendship was measured in decades, from grade school through grandchildren. Jim was a kind and gentle soul. The memories of our times together could fill a book. Reality is sometimes hard to endure. Never-the-less, it’s something we must accept. The grief brings tears to my eyes, but remembering the good times we shared helps my heart to smile and brings joy to my soul. Rest in peace my friend.

When I think of Jim, I think of the adventures and visits we shared with him and Marilyn. Over the years of memories, his humor and ability to make us smile shine through along with his truly kind heart. Such a person is a gift in today’s world. His loss saddens me beyond words. He will be missed.

My cousin Jimmy and I were born about three weeks apart. And for the first many years, we spent every Sunday together when our family would visit his.
Those many Sundays left indelible memories: the warmth of their household, the smell of their Christmas trees, the fun when new baby Jeffrey was born.
But most of all , I remember Jimmy. I used to brag about him to my classmates. My cousin Jimmy never cries. No matter even if he gets hurt, he never cries. Not like his sister Carole(sorry Carole).
When I think of Jimmy I see us running. Especially when his family lived in that big White House just west of the village. I loved that house; we would play dress up in the attic. But mostly I remember running through an adjacent field towards three big trees at the far end. We ran neck and neck towards those trees. We never said who won. Or even if we we're competing.
Jimmy and I were both the sentimental type. We would talk about the family reunions in Buffalo at the Olheiser home and how much we enjoyed seeing all our cousins and second cousins and aunts and uncles in every generation.
A while ago before he got sick, he began to resurrect that tradition. He and his beloved wife Marilyn held reunions. I was lucky enough to be there for the second one.i had not seen him (or Carole) in many years. The years slipped away as he looked at me and said "Oh those eyes."
We looked forward to many more.
Unfortunately it was not to be.
As ALS began its inexorable inroads, he was facing the run of his life. And yet, as his muscle power left him, his kindness and sweetness blossomed. Never, never did he fail to tell me he loved me. As I loved him.
When he would brag about his granddaughter Riley, I would tell him that she was running for him. And I believe she is.
His war against ALS, that horrible disease, is over. He fought a good fight.
And now I know that my cousin Jimmy will remain together in spirit, always picturing the two of us running, running towards those trees.
My cousin Jimmy.
The winner.

I grew up with Jim and sister Carole who was my SCS '63 classmate. My brother Jerry and Jim were in the same class. Jim, Maurice Sonnenfeldt, brother Jerry and I would head to the PARK to swim most summer days. We had a great time for many years until we all had to work summer jobs. Every year we would pack a sandwich and ride our bikes around the lake several times. Jim was one of the funniest guys I have ever met and one of the nicest. RIP Jim, you no longer have to struggle; you are back home with the Lord and I will see you in the future my friend. God Bless you and your family. Buddy Evans

How many testimonies do you need to read before you can contact the spiritualist to help you with the problem you are facing that makes life look choked and undeserving? Are you passing through pregnancy problems? Or maybe you want to get back your ex lover or get a big promotion in your office? I only needed to see Dr ANOKOKUDO to help me with my pregnancy problems and my help came to me. I promised if I got pregnant that I would also come online to share my experience with the world so others who are facing similar situations will get to know that there is a solution to every situation. My name is Millie Watson and I am from Arizona, USA. If you have been reading all I have said, I just want to thank Dr Anokokudo for helping me after 8 years of infertility since I got married in 2014. I gave birth to a wonderful baby boy on Dec 5 2022 and I will share this testimony of his work in my life to anywhere help is needed.
