Eleanor Lansbury Myhalik, 92, of Skaneateles, NY passed away on Monday, May 15th at Touch Points Nursing Home in Farmington, CT where she has been living for the pasted 14 years. Eleanor worked for more than 30 years at Welch Allyn. She enjoyed knitting and sewing in her free time. Eleanor is predeceased by her loving husband Michael in 2008 and a son Gary in 2002. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Myhalik & son in law Stephen Calderon, MD of Farmington, CT and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 19th at 1pm at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 18th from 5 to 7pm at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Skaneateles Food Pantry 24 Jordan Street, Skaneateles, NY 13152.

Eleanor lived a good long life of 92 years, she is among those who the Bible speaks of as being especially strong. As you celebrate her well- lived life may all your hearts be filled with joy and laughter.-Psalm 90:10

I am sorry for the loss of your mother. My husband and his siblings lost their mother in the past few years and I lost a wonderful mother-in-law. We were all able to find comfort in the words at Revelation 21:4 - "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I hope they provide some comfort to you too. My sincere condolences to you all.

Deepest condolences to family and friends. At times like this it is of comfort to know that we can "pour our hearts" out to our Creator for solace (Psalms 62:8) and as Isaiah 26:19 say "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For you dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." I hope that these words have been of comfort and again my deepest sympathy.

Condolences to your family. May you receive comfort from the word of God during this time of loss. Acts 24:15 says there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. Can you imagine the joy of Martha and Mary when Jesus raised Lazarus back to life?—Read John 11:21-24, 38-44. Revelation 21:3,4 promises that one day death, mourning, and outcry will be no more.
