Dolores A. Bisgrove

Dolores A. Bisgrove passed away Friday May 4, 2018 following an extended illness. She is survived by her husband Bruce of Flowery Branch, Ga., son Robert of Flowery Branch, Ga., and daughter Karen also of Flowery Branch, sisters Mary Watkins and Alice Blewett of Auburn, NY, and brother Peter (Judi) Blewett of Topsfield MA. and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Clarence and Elsie Blewett and brother William.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 3rd from 12 to 1pm with a memorial service to follow at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Dolores’ name to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration. A donation form can be found on their website: www.aftd.org.

Bruce, I don't know if you remember me but we used to pal around a bit while growing up in Owasco. I am sorry to hear of the passing of your wife. Please know that you and your family will be in my prayers.

It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love; and when it happens , the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your love one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your love one is up in heaven. The bible, holds a out a much different hope. At Job 14:14,15, it says that the God of comfort Jehovah, yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them alive on earth. I really hope this thought brings family and friends comfort.

Dear Bisgrove family,
My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Life never prepares us for such loss! The God of all comfort Jehovah promises to swallow the sting of death up forever at 1 Corinthians 15:26. The Bible also holds out a positive hope one that will reunite us with our loved ones on a paradise earth. Psalms 37:10,11. I hope these thoughts bring some comfort during this difficult time.
