Barbara “Barb” Kuppinger Greenfield, 87, of Skaneateles, NY, passed unexpectedly Saturday, February 17th, in Tampa, Florida.
Barb was born and raised in Owasco, New York, to Henry and Hortense Kuppinger. She was a 1948 graduate of Skaneateles High School and received her RN degree from Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. Shortly after nursing school, she met her husband, Webb Benton “Banjo” Greenfield and they were married on April 26, 1952. Barb helped build and run Greenfield Farms LLC. on West Lake Road in Skaneateles. Barb was a proud mother to six children, “Gram” to 12 grandchildren, and “GG” to three great-grandchildren.
Barb was a founding member of SAVES, a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and the Laker Limo, and a member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church. Barb was also a longtime school nurse at Skaneateles Waterman Elementary and Middle School, where she enjoyed getting to help and know so many local families. In her retirement years, Barb enjoyed playing dominos and bridge with friends and spending winters in Florida.
Barb was a woman devoted to her family and faith. She was the definition of what it meant to be a “true friend.” She had a remarkable ability to make you feel incredibly special and loved. Among many other qualities – her infectious laugh, incredible story-telling, and unconditional love will be missed by all.
Barb is survived by her children; James Greenfield, Margaret Card (Michael), William Greenfield, Susan Murphy, and Thomas Greenfield (Lisa); sister Mary Ann (Kuppinger) Carmody; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Webb Benton “Banjo” Greenfield, son David Greenfield, granddaughter Kerri Card, and brother Thomas Kuppinger.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 22, from 4 to 8pm at the Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 23, at 10am at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. Barb will be buried in Lakeview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SAVES, the Skaneateles Fire Department, St. Mary’s of the Lake Church Skaneateles, or the charity of your choice.

A very loving, caring and spiritual lady. She invoked warmth, love, kindness and generosity to those she came in contact with. Though now she joins those who went before her, she lives within your hearts and minds. So hold those memories close to your hearts until you meet up with your loved ones. To all of Barb's children my deepest condolences and fond memories of a outstanding Skaneatelesian who knew her community well.

Dear Peg,Sue,and Family, I first met Barb in the late 70’s when I taught 6th grade at Skaneateles Middle School, she was our nurse. I later became friends with her two daughters. Barb was upbeat and fun, always smiling, ready to help in any way. She was dedicated to her family, community, and had a strong, unwavering faith in God. What an example for us all. Our sincere sympathy to her family, she will be greatly missed.

Barb was a perfect blend of care, compassion and humor. She knew that laughter was good medicine and smiled often in her work as our school nurse. She was a wonderful neighbor. West Lake Road becomes much longer and darker without its beloved matriarch.

Our hearts are broken to hear of the loss of your Mother/grandmother's passing. Barbara was a wonderful, caring, sincere friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Barbara was always there to take care of our children and so many children throughout her dedicated years at Skaneateles School. I will cherish the fun-filled memories of our lunch/dinners together especially Barbara saying, "We should order dessert first". She is at peace now, an angel to watch over us all. "Rest in Peace dear friend. You will always be in our hearts". Hugs to all the family.

I want to express my condolences to the Greenfield family on their loss and especially to Jim, Peg, Billy, Sue and TK. It was over 50
years ago when we were all growing up in Skaneateles. Barb would bring you kids over to the house after church on Sunday and have donuts and coffee with my parents. I remember all of you sliding down our hill, working on the farm and at horse shows. It's been a long time and I and my wife Kathi no longer live in the area but I still remember how great your mother was and I have many fond memories of her and the good times that we had as kids. Sorry for your loss.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you wonderful Greenfield children, grandchildren and Double G's. To know Barb was to love her. She was quick to laugh or make you laugh, positive in her words and actions and definitely the nicest " in control " person ever. I knew her as a Middle School nurse and as a bridge player. She was quite good at both. May you often reflect on your fond memories as well.

It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love; and when it happens , the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your love one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your love one is up in heaven. The bible, holds a out a much different hope. At Job 14:14,15, it says that the God of comfort Jehovah, yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them alive on earth. I really hope this thought brings family and friends comfort.

I TESTED POSITIVE FOR HSV-2 A FEW MONTHS AGO.
At first, Yes, I was devastated thinking I have an incurable STD for life. After doing hours of research I quickly realized genital herpes is a filthy parasite that just likes to hide in your body. Yes, There’s no “medical cure” but that doesn’t mean your body can’t get rid of it. I literally flush it out of my system with the help of Doctor Azuka, A natural herbal medicine which I ordered after doing some research. And now I’m HSV-2 negative, I never believed it until my doctor finally gave me the test results and behold I was HSV-2 free. I’m so glad that I found you, Doctor Azuka. Thanks so much for your goodness I’m grateful. You can also get your help from him through his

My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough.
